Depth of Field: Gavin Gough Pt 2

I had a lot of good feedback on yesterday’s interview with Gavin Gough part 1. I think you will also enjoy the conclusion of that interview today. Gavin and I had more fun that I think we were allowed to have in an interview. As you can tell most of our time was spent swapping stories. So sit back and enjoy.

Interview with Gavin Gough part 2

If you have any suggestions for other interviews please drop me a note. Here is my interview hit list so far:

Esther Havens
Mitchell Kanashkevich
Joe McNally
James Nachtwey
Steve McCurry

Thanks so much for providing this insight into both your's and Gavin's work in Asia. Wonderful interview.

    Cheers,
    Alex
  • Thanks again to the both of you!
As for the wishlist; great choices. I'd like to see (or rather; hear) Zoriah aswell.
  • Matt, I think you might be surprised with how generous people can be with their time. I bet finding the right "in" with McCurry or Nachtwey will be tougher than getting a piece of their time. But that duChemin guy? Good luck. He's a jerk :-P
  • Part 2 was just as good as part 1. Gavin, any story on tea needs a bit on oolong - I know a few tea people here in Taiwan (home of oolong) so if you need assistance etc, let me know.
  • wilsonian
    Well that was fun!
Looking forward to more in September :)
  • The only trouble will be with getting James Nachtwey and Steve McCurry. Those two greats are very busy and may not have time for the ilks of us. Understandable.

Nicole, what a blast India will be this year. Can't wait to hang with David, Gavin, Ami and you!
  • I love these interviews, They're great. That's some hit list you've got there. Good luck with that
