Everyone goes through that, Matt. Don't worry about it. I wrote a post about the creativity cycle a few weeks ago which has my thoughts on it. May be worth a read.
http://olwickphotography.wordpress.com/2010/05/...

Mark

Fabulous shot, Matt. I keep going back to it and finding more to enjoy in it. If the steaks were 1/2 as good, I'm sure the day finished on a high note.

Beautiful photo though... As you say there is always some light - even if only a pinpoint. :-)

Hasifleur - I am not in Egypt now. That was a month back. I am in Malaysia, where I live now. As for stuff to put in my pipe, well, I keep it street legal and high quality. These days it's Peterson's Special 2010 Reserve.

Hello Matt. Just a thought but overtime you have built up a regular core of readers and contributors (I'm the former, not the latter - this is my first comment). Why not invite some contributions from them? Send a favourite image and talk about why the photographer took it, what makes it a favourite etc. Or images from some of the places your readers have been that others may not have reached yet? Like I say, just a thought. Enjoy the steaks.
